Welcome to your new home for the next few months – we’re happy to welcome you to the University of Ioannina!
We are delighted to invite you to join us for a meet-and-greet event,
where we can formally introduce you to our University community and provide a warm welcome.
The event will be held on Thursday, 17th October 2024,
at the Congress Centre ‘Karolos Papoulias’ (Campus A’, Ioannina), at 15.00.
The Orientation day coincides with the Welcome Day for our first-year students.
This will be a fantastic opportunity for you to connect with students from Greece and beyond and make memories!
Apart from introductions, Q&A sessions, and the chance to get to know representatives from our student clubs,
you’ll have the opportunity to mingle with fellow students and staff outside a formal setting.
You will also receive your UoI Erasmus memorabilia to commemorate the start of your study period with us.
Last but not least, as a bonus feature, you’ll have the opportunity to attend an online empowerment seminar entitled:
In this workshop, we’ll cover essential tips for structuring your CV, tailoring it to specific job roles, and highlighting key achievements.
You’ll also learn how to avoid common mistakes, use powerful language, and optimize its design.
Whether you’re starting from scratch or refining an existing CV, this session will provide the tools and insights you need to make a lasting impression.
